Hello and Thanks for stopping by to check things out! I'm Ann-Marie and I am the owner and photographer of Finn Photography. I'm a children and family photographer based in Sylvania, Ohio. I've been a full time photographer for over 10 years now and love that I get to spend my days capturing wonderful memories for so many amazing families.
That's me above with my wonderful husband Chad and our lovely two girls. They are our world and keep us busy!
I married my high school sweetheart Chad 15 years ago and we haven't looked back since. I'm that sappy person that loves that I have known him longer than I haven't and when we look back at the "younger" years all our memories have each other in them.
I love iced coffee but if I had to be honest I love ice tea more, I love staying up late and sleeping in. I can't keep a plant alive to save my soul but somehow I have a thriving vegetable garden every year?!! I love summer rides in the jeep with the top down and morning walks with my pup. I love family nights with friends and watching my kids catch fireflies. I LOVE charcuterie boards. I love taking vacations to warm places but up North will always have a special place in my heart. I hate laundry with a passion. I love baking with my girls. I'm one of those Moms that screams and cheers at sporting events. I am not a fan of big groups of people. I'm a planner through and through but my kids have changed me and taught me to fly by the seat of my pants more these days. I love making memories and spending time with those I love.
As my girls grow older my love for photography has only gotten stronger. Holding your new little ones in my arms constantly reminds me of how fast time goes and how glad I am to have so many pictures of my own children over the years.
I started my business over 12 years ago. I had always been an avid scrapbooker and loved capturing memories. After a not so pleasant experience with my sister at a chain store photography studio something sparked inside of me. After watching my sister almost cry and stress over the session, I knew there had to be a better way, this is not the experience we wanted. I kicked my learning into high gear and after lots of studying, practicing, failing and trying again, Finn Photography was born.
I pour my heart and soul into my business and am constantly trying to come up with new ideas for minis sessions, scouting new locations or planning an epic Santa session. But at the end of the day what's most important is capturing those memories for you to cherish forever.... yup its cheesy..... but heck I'm cheesy and sentimental.
